Found Cafe sits comfortably on Preston Drove as a distinctive art cafe with a welcoming, slightly eclectic charm that draws in a diverse local crowd. The space is a lively mix of creativity and comfort — walls adorned with local artwork, handmade cards, pottery, and small crafts lend a gallery-meets-coffee-shop feel. This blend makes it a spot where you can sip a carefully brewed coffee while soaking up the neighborhood’s artistic pulse.

The cafe’s vibe leans into warmth and community, attracting those who appreciate a slower pace — whether it’s artists meeting for inspiration, dog walkers dropping by with their pets, or longtime locals chatting over breakfast. With both indoor seating rich with cozy nooks and an outdoor area perfect for sunny days, it caters well to anyone wanting a relaxed corner in Brighton’s ever-busy streets.

In terms of fare, Found Cafe focuses on a thoughtful mix of vegetarian and vegan options, with a clear commitment to ethically sourced ingredients. The menu highlights include standout baked goods like courgette and lime cake or the gingerbread tree, alongside fresh and hearty choices such as spanakopita, avocado toast, and a vegetarian-friendly English breakfast. The tofu "bang bang" dish, while not part of the primary menu here, gets notable mentions from regulars which hints at the kitchen’s willingness to explore bold flavors.

It’s a place that feels built from the heart — reflected not only in the food but also in the upbeat, attentive service. The presence of local artists' work on display changes regularly, giving visitors a new reason to return while supporting the community. Visitors mention the place often buzzing with energy, especially around breakfast and brunch hours, so planning for a visit during mid-mornings or early afternoons can make for a more comfortable experience.

Overall, Found Cafe works best for anyone keen to combine their coffee break with a bit of local culture and a casual, friendly environment. It’s especially suited to vegans, vegetarians, art lovers, and those who enjoy browsing small creative shops while enjoying a quality drink or wholesome bite. Dog owners and regulars looking for a relaxed, familiar spot will find the cafe’s approachable atmosphere a good fit any day of the week.

Delicious cakes, great coffee, lovely home made salads, the best vegetarian breakfast you will ever eat. This lovely little cafe is a friendly neighbourhood establishment that often has local artists' work on display, with hand made cards, pottery, arts and crafts. It has a very warm and friendly vibe, you can sit outside as well as inside. Dog friendly. Highly recommend.

It's beautiful, really unique, incredible decor and fabulous creations on display. The service was fantastic, the food absolutely wonderful. The place is obviously a work of the heart, truly ethical and a great range of vegan and gluten free yummies! I've never seen such pretty cakes! I can't recommend this place enough! You may have to book a place x It was busy when we were there

A lovely cafe, quirkily decorated with excellent food and drinks. Perfect for a girl’s catch-up or a pleasant brunch with mum. From the pastel colours to the carbon-neutral coffee, everything about this place emits feel-good vibes. Their decently priced menu is vegetarian and varied, with scrambled tofu option in place of eggs, as well as an incredible big breakfast for only £8. The coffee was excellent!
